Envirothon
The RC&D Council provides support and participates
in this environmental educational program. The New York State
Envirothon, sponsored by the New York State Soil and Water Conservation
Districts, is designed to: Test high school students knowledge
and understanding of natural resource issues within New York State
and cultivate students' desire to learn more about our natural
resources and environmental issues.
May 4, 2001 Niagara-Orleans Regional Envirothon.

The Lake Plains RC&D helped with the Envirothon
program, which was held at Bond Lake on May 4, 2001. The students
are completing the test exercise at the forestry table.
