Western New York Relicensing is an initiative undertaken by the Western New York Relicensing Consensus Committee (WNY RCC). Its purpose is to provide information about the hydropower relicensing process and the issues surrounding the relicensing of the Niagara Power Project (NPP). It also seeks to enlist the involvement and collaboration of all NPP stakeholders to help ensure a relicensing outcome that furthers all interests. The Lake Plains RC&D is supporting this effort.
